Tips on speed, devices, VPNs, and EPG so customers get the smoothest IPTV experience possible.
To enjoy smooth IPTV streaming, a few simple settings and habits make a big difference. Here are practical tips that are easy to follow.
Internet speed and bandwidth
For one TV or device, we recommend a minimum of around 25 Mbps stable download speed; more is better if other people are using the internet at the same time.
If multiple TVs or devices will stream at once, aim for 50 Mbps or higher.
Whenever possible, connect your streaming device using an Ethernet cable (wired) instead of Wi‑Fi.
If you must use Wi‑Fi, keep the device close to the router and avoid thick walls between them.
Best devices to use
Dedicated streaming devices like ONN 4K / ONN 4K Pro and other Google TV / Android TV boxes usually perform better than older Smart TV apps.
We prefer ONN 4K / Google TV because they work well with our app and with IPTV in general.
We do not recommend Amazon Firestick for installing our app or sideloading APKs, due to recent software changes that complicate installations and can cause more issues. Firestick may still be usable through its browser and our WebTV player, but we do not recommend it as the main app device.
EPG (Electronic Program Guide / TV Guide)
The EPG is the on‑screen TV schedule that shows what is playing now and next on each channel.
In many IPTV apps, you can open the EPG by pressing a “Guide” button or by selecting an EPG or TV guide icon.
Within the guide, you can scroll left/right to see earlier or later programs and up/down to move between channels.
If your guide is empty or incorrect, try refreshing the EPG or restarting the app. It can take a few minutes for new guide data to download.
VPN usage
Some users choose to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) with IPTV to improve privacy or to avoid ISP throttling. We recommend PUREvpn as one of the best providers. You can get 70% - 80% off of PUREvpn (https://billing.purevpn.com/aff.php?aff=49386523) at this link: https://billing.purevpn.com/aff.php?aff=49386523
If you use a VPN, choose a server close to your physical location for the best speeds.
If you experience buffering while using a VPN, try changing to another server or turning the VPN off temporarily to test.
General troubleshooting tips
If a channel buffers or freezes, first try changing to another channel. If other channels work, it may be a temporary issue with that specific channel.
If many channels buffer, test your internet speed.
[03-03-2026 15:51] #72175 - Jimmy Roger: Restart your router and your streaming device (unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back in).
Make sure no large downloads or streams are running on other devices at the same time.
